What are the signs of depression?
At times when someone is feeling sad, this can be very normal and often temporary. However, if you are feeling so sad and down to where you are having thoughts of suicide, difficulty getting out of bed daily, or your missing work or important events, for over a week. It may be time to get more support.
Other signs of depression: poor appetite, weight loss/weight gain, lack of concentration, loss of interest or pleasure in activities, fatigue, excessive crying, and irritability.
What are the signs of anxiety?
We all get worried from time to time as stresses of life come our way. However, if your anxiety is getting so overwhelming where you are unable to calm yourself, concentrate to making life decisions, and your relationships are straining from it, it may be a good idea to seek more support.
Other signs of anxiety: racing/unwanted thoughts, worry thoughts, sweating, fear, insomnia, irritability, restlessness, abnormal heartbeat, trembling, and dizziness.
